Batch-drop everything.
Bank CSVs, statement PDFs, receipt photos. Drag the whole folder in. No format wrangling, no one file at a time.
Upload the bank exports, the statements, the shoebox photos. Squareaway categorizes every transaction, reconciles to the bank, flags what needs your eye — and hands you a P&L your accountant will actually accept.
Feed it everything at once. It learns your business, reconciles to the last penny, and reports on a schedule. You review — you don’t retype.
Bank CSVs, statement PDFs, receipt photos. Drag the whole folder in. No format wrangling, no one file at a time.
Fix a handful of categories and it writes your rules — then runs the rest of the book to match, the way you would.
Every line tied to a bank record. Duplicates, pending, outliers — flagged in red, never quietly hidden.
Monthly P&L snapshots, one-click export to QuickBooks or Xero, and a signed statement your lender will accept.
No sorting, no smoothing, no shame. Snap the crumpled pile and Squareaway reads each receipt — payee, amount, date, category — and drops it straight into the ledger.

Tax-ready, lender-ready, investor-ready. Letterhead, monthly columns to the penny, and a banker-green seal carrying the date, the line count, and the audit checksum. Not a spreadsheet — a statement.
Flat. Known. No hourly meter running.
Bank connections are read-only through aggregators with SOC 2 Type II attestation. Files are encrypted at rest and in transit; you can purge source documents once a job is sealed. We never move money and never sell data.
Every categorized line maps to your existing chart of accounts, with class and memo preserved. The export is a standard journal — your accountant imports it whole, or cherry-picks. No lock-in, no proprietary format.
A line Squareaway won't guess on: no bank match, a possible duplicate, an amount that breaks a pattern, or a payee it's never seen. Flagged is honest — it surfaces the handful that need a human instead of burying them in a confident-looking total.
Your first ~50 corrections become rules scoped to your business — “payee contains SHELL → Fuel.” It runs the rest to match and keeps refining as you review. Nothing crosses between clients; your rules are yours.
Per-job plans are refundable in full before you export or seal the P&L. If the books aren't right, you don't pay. Flat, known, done.
